What You'll Do …

The Product / Project Supervisor / Manager, Connected Car Devices will be the wearer of many hats and the gatekeeper who ensures that new products are completed in a timely manner with optimized quality/features. You will be highly organized, a reliable self- starter, and can take ownership of the Connected Car project for the company. A keen attention to detail is necessary to ensure all products meet the high-quality standards all while maintaining a timely production schedule that meets our customers’ timelines.

  • Ability to manage work with a multidisciplinary team, in a shared resource environment, to bring a tracker device to completion
  • Basic understanding of how tracking devices operate in a cellular network and with GPS and Internet
  • Ability to report to and manage relationships for “customers” for this product (internal and external)
  • Understanding of how an electronic device is manufactured, and how materials are procured

Must Have:

  • High school diploma
  • Basic Electronics knowledge, reasonable logic and math skills, and basic English writing/communications skills required
  • Technical, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but experience and willingness to learn will be weighed more heavily
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, independent worker within the framework or our operations, willing to do “whatever it takes” to get the job done correctly, on time and within budget
  • Desire to contribute to team to build efficiencies, best practices, and improve overall performance

Nice to have:

  • Telematics experience
  • Understanding of GPS technology
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology or similar
